Run for the Fallen dog friendly 10K, 5K – Wisconsin
Run for the Fallen welcomes dogs in the 10K, 5K and 1-mile firefighter challenge. The event honors rescue workers who were deployed to Ground Zero on September 11, including the dogs trained for search and rescue, police work or therapy.
Run for the Fallen is scheduled for Saturday Sept. 10, 2022. The 10K starts at 9:30am at Towering Pines Park in Kronenwatter, Wisc. The course is flat and goes through neighborhoods with shade. Strollers are allowed.
The race will have water stations for dogs as well as extra dog waste bags. Runners and walkers who bring dogs should start at the back in each race. Your chip timer will not start until you cross the start line.
If you’d like to bring your dog, please indicate this during registration.
There will be awards in each age bracket for all the events as well as overall male and female winners in each event.
