Knickerbocker Canyon 5K, 10K, Half & 35K – Auburn, CA
Dogs are allowed in the Knickerbocker Canyon Trail Run, including all distances. There is a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and 35K race. They all begin at the American River Canyon Overlook Park in Auburn, CA. Runners with dogs need to start in the back.
The 35K and half marathon start at 8:30 and the 5K and 10K begin at 9 a.m. The time limit is 6.5 hours (3 p.m.). There is free parking but car pooling is always encouraged due to limited space.
The 35K and half marathon race take place along the Western States trail, out to the no hands bridge. The races includes a difficult climb up the K2 training hill.
Runners in the 5K and 10K races will be on single track and run along the river and canyons.
