Run for the Animals Dog Friendly Half Marathon – VA

Run for the Animals offers a dog friendly half marathon, 10K and 5K race that benefits animal welfare organizations on the Eastern shore of Virginia.
Participants can run or walk any distance with or without a dog. Virtual options are also available. Dogs must be kept on a leash. Strollers are also allowed.
The event takes place at the Wachapreague Carnival Grounds in Wachapreague, VA.
The first 250 to register will receive a race shirt. All participants will receive a finishers medal. There will also be awards by age divisions.
Water and gatorade will be available at aid stations on all courses, along with water available for dogs.
