When: April 15, 2023 – 5k Run Starts at 10:00 am, ends at 12:00 pm
Where: Pinchot State Park (Sunnyside Pavilion), 2200 Rosstown Rd, Lewisberry, PA 17339
Directions: From Harrisburg, take the Lewisberry Exit (35) of I-83 south, then PA 177 south; or by US 15 south to Dillsburg, then to PA 74 south.
From York, take PA 74 north or I-83 north. From I-83, take the Newberrytown Exit (32), PA 382 west to PA 177 south.

Join us on Saturday, April 15th 2023 at Pinchot State Park Sunnyside Pavilion to walk, trot, or gallop in our 2nd annual “Run for the Horses” 5k Fun Run.
The course will wind through the beautiful trails of Pinchot State Park. Proceeds from this race will benefit the Central Pennsylvania Horse Rescue (CPHR) located in Lewisberry, York County, PA. CPHR is celebrating its 6th year of rescuing and re-homing horses.
In just six years, we have rescued 140 horses who would otherwise have gone to slaughter. The fun run will begin at 10:00am. The first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative horse shoe.
We will also have a variety of soups and bread for runners at the completion of the race (Vegetarian options available). There will also be a special appearance by a few of our rescued horses.
The goal of this event is to raise funds for the horse’s care and have fun.
Canine friends are also welcome.
