Run for the Fallen welcomes dogs in the 10K, 5K and 1-mile firefighter challenge. The event honors rescue workers who were deployed to Ground Zero on September 11, including the dogs trained for search and rescue, police work or therapy.

The Clovis Memorial Run includes a 5K runwalk, a 2-mile walk, a 1/2-mile kids run and a 1/2-mile walk (for seniors and wheelchairs). This race is not advertised as dog friendly but the race director confirmed there is "no policy against dogs."

The Rodeo Valley Trail Run has several distances but dogs are allowed only in the 8K race (4.8 miles) due to trail specific rules. The event takes place at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in Sausalito, CA. Dogs need to be leashed at all times.

The Super Chili Bowl 5K is a family friendly event that welcomes both dogs and strollers. You can race in person or virtually. Everyone will receive a custom finisher's medal and a food ticket for a hot bowl of chili! This ticket is redeemable at certain restaurants.
