Run for the Fallen welcomes dogs in the 10K, 5K and 1-mile firefighter challenge. The event honors rescue workers who were deployed to Ground Zero on September 11, including the dogs trained for search and rescue, police work or therapy.

The Furry Friends 5K run raises money for homeless dogs and cats with the Humane Society of Jefferson County. Dogs are welcome and the course is scenic and flat.

The Racine County K9-5K run takes place on a crushed gravel trail. Dogs are welcome, and money will go to the Racine County Area K9-Units.

The Santa's Little Helper Dog Mile is a special wave just for you and your dog! The race is one mile and participants will receive a Santa hat and Santa Run sunglasses. You are encouraged to dress up with your dog.

The Oakland Hills Trail Run offers a dog friendly 10K, half marathon and 35K event. Dogs are asked to start at the back of the pack.

The Barkside of Winter is a canicross race that takes place on a 2.5-mile looped course. It is mostly double wide trails at the Seno K/RLT Conservancy. You can do up to 4 laps or 10 miles.

The Clovis Memorial Run includes a 5K runwalk, a 2-mile walk, a 1/2-mile kids run and a 1/2-mile walk (for seniors and wheelchairs). This race is not advertised as dog friendly but the race director confirmed there is "no policy against dogs."

All proceeds from the second annual Buzz Run will to to Animal Lifeline of Iowa. This race is free to join and medals can be purchased for a minimum $10 donation. Dogs are welcome in the 5K, 10K and half marathon distance.

The Greenhorn Ranch Trail Run welcomes leashed dogs in all distances including a 5K, 10K, 25K and 50K. This is a looped course on dirt, forest roads.

The Zoomies 50K also offers a 5K, 10K & 15K option. The race goes around a 1.57-mile loop so you complete it 20 times for the 50K. Dogs are welcome and the course will feature rescue animals available for adoption.

Race to the Top of Vermont if a 4.3-mile run, bike or hike up Vermont's highest mountain. Leashed dogs are allowed in the hiking division.

The Davis Turkey Trot now offers a 2-mile "dog jog" for runners and walkers with or without dogs. The event is scheduled for Saturday Nov. 19, 2022. It takes place at the Civic Center Field in Davis.

The Good Dog - Dirty Dog 5K and 10K race is at 8 a.m. on Sunday Aug. 28, 2022. It takes place at Folsom Lake. There are awards for various dog divisions by size as well as a canicross division. You can also run without a dog, if you prefer.

There is a dog friendly 5K and 10K walk as well as a 5K and 10K run. The races start at the Granite Beach parking area at Folsom Lake and are on trails. The course will have an aid station with water for both dogs and people.

The Rodeo Valley Trail Run has several distances but dogs are allowed only in the 8K race (4.8 miles) due to trail specific rules. The event takes place at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in Sausalito, CA. Dogs need to be leashed at all times.

Dogs are allowed in the Knickerbocker Canyon Trail Run, including all distances. There is a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and 35K race. They all begin at the American River Canyon Overlook Park in Auburn, CA. Runners with dogs need to start in the back.

The Super Chili Bowl 5K is a family friendly event that welcomes both dogs and strollers. You can race in person or virtually. Everyone will receive a custom finisher's medal and a food ticket for a hot bowl of chili! This ticket is redeemable at certain restaurants.

This dog friendly event is scheduled for April 23, 2022. The event will be held in person at William Land Park in Sacramento. Proceeds will go to the Sacramento SPCA.

Dogs are allowed to run with you but the race director asks that you start in the back and allow other runners to spread out. Choose from the 10K, 25K or 50K race.
