Race for the Warrior offers a dog friendly 5K run. There is also a 10K without dogs. The races celebrates all mothers and salutes women in the military. Those running with dogs in the 5K will have their own lane.

The dog friendly Furry Skurry 5K is scheduled for May 14, 2022. It raises money for the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. There is also a dog friendly 1-mile walk.

FurGo Dog Run event - 1.5 mile walk/run. Dogs receive a goody bag and a finisher's medal. Over 400 participants took on the course last year.

All proceeds from the second annual Buzz Run will to to Animal Lifeline of Iowa. This race is free to join and medals can be purchased for a minimum $10 donation. Dogs are welcome in the 5K, 10K and half marathon distance.

The Greenhorn Ranch Trail Run welcomes leashed dogs in all distances including a 5K, 10K, 25K and 50K. This is a looped course on dirt, forest roads.

The Furry Friends 5K run raises money for homeless dogs and cats with the Humane Society of Jefferson County. Dogs are welcome and the course is scenic and flat.

The Petpalooza event in Auburn includes a dog friendly 3K and 5K. The route starts in Game Farm Park and goes along the White River Trail. Everyone receives a t-shirt.

The Buffalo Stampede is a 1K dog friendly race that is meant to be FAST! It's a flat course and all dogs of all sizes are welcome. They finish through an arch for a nice photo opportunity. Cost is $25 per dog.

The Clovis Memorial Run includes a 5K runwalk, a 2-mile walk, a 1/2-mile kids run and a 1/2-mile walk (for seniors and wheelchairs). This race is not advertised as dog friendly but the race director confirmed there is "no policy against dogs."
