This is a pet friendly event! There is a 5K option as well as a shorter 1-mile walk/run option This is a timed event with awards to the top overall male and female runners who finish with a dog! Awards are broken down into age group categories, including those 14 and under!

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed to run in all three races, the 100-miler, the 100K and the 20-miler. They must not bother any people, dogs or wildlife. The course is single track on 20-mile loops. Anyone who lets their dog off leash will be disqualified.

The K9 Canter 1 Mile Fun Run is part of the It's Fall Y'all 5K event in Westminster, CO. Dogs are allowed in the 1-mile fun run and costumes are encouraged!
